Animating Graphics and Playing SoundYou can run any sequence of graphics as a movie. The movie appears in the most visible cell in the sequence. You can also play sounds if your computer has audio hardware installed. To animate a set of graphics:- Create each frame of the animation--for example, by using a Do loop.
- Select the cell bracket that contains all the graphics cells.
- Choose Cell
Animate Selected Graphics, or double-click any graphic. The animation appears in the most visible cell of the selected graphics.
TIPS
For a smooth animation you can align the graphics. Select the cell bracket that contains all the graphic cells, and choose Cell Align Selected Graphics.
When you animate graphics, a control bar appears at the bottom of the notebook. This bar allows you to control the speed and direction of the animation. To play sound:- Use the Mathematica commands Play or ListPlay to create a sound.
- To play the sound, double-click the speaker image at the top of the cell bracket.
To adjust the sound volume:Windows: Click the speaker icon located in the lower right corner or use the volume control under the Sounds and Audio Devices item in the Control Panel. Macintosh: Use the Sound item in System Preferences to control the volume. TIPS
You must have speakers to play sounds.
Windows and Macintosh: If your system has audio input hardware, you can record sounds in Mathematica using Input Record Sound.
