ReleaseHold

Usage

• ReleaseHold[expr] removes Hold, HoldForm, HoldPattern and HoldComplete in expr.

Notes

• Example: ReleaseHold[

2, Hold[1 + 1]

]

• ReleaseHold removes only one layer of Hold etc.; it does not remove inner occurrences in nested Hold etc. functions.
