Using the Author Information Dialog

The Authors Database

The first time you press the OK button after filling out the Author Information Dialog, Publicon stores any new author information to a database. Each time you use the Author Information Dialog, author information that has not been saved previously is added to the database. You can access the database and insert this cached author data by clicking the Load button. Clicking a listing in the resulting dialog will insert the name into the Author Information Dialog. Clicking the [x] in the right column will mark that entry for deletion (upon clicking OK). To unmark an entry, click the [x] again.

This dialog can be displayed in Condensed view (default) or Expanded view. Condensed shows only the author name, while Expanded shows author names and associated data.
