Append

FilledSmallSquare Append[expr, elem] gives expr with elem appended.

FilledSmallSquare Examples: Append[a,b, c] LongRightArrow; Append[f[a], b+c] LongRightArrow.

FilledSmallSquare In iteratively building a list, it is usually more efficient to use Sow and Reap than to use Append[list, new] at each step.

FilledSmallSquare Append works on SparseArray objects, returning ordinary lists if necessary.

FilledSmallSquare See Section 1.8.6 and Section 2.4.2.

FilledSmallSquare See also: Prepend, Insert, AppendTo, PadRight, Sow.

FilledSmallSquare New in Version 1.
